Greetings and hopes that you are enjoying the lovely autumn season this year.  Here in New Mexico, fall lasts for a long time, and I can’t get over how beautiful the trees still are with their vibrant colors! 

I want to mention Retirement Living TV, www.rl.tv.com.  (The Daily Cafe logo above is one of their many regular shows).  FINALLY, someone took the initiative and brought “all-topics senior” to its own TV channel.  I’ve been waiting for this for years now, and am so psyched that it’s now on the tube.  Of course, I haven’t had a chance to tune in myself, as it is offered through Comcast and Direct TV.  (We have Dish Network in our house.)  Hopefully Dish Network will pick it up, too so that I can be a regular viewer.  Check it out if you can, but also visit their informative site.

We bought a house!!!  We will close on our first home (always have been lowly renters) on Dec. 27th, and are really geeked.  More on that w/ pics in the next few months. 

I’ve contacted www.skinit.com with my interest in perhaps working with them so they can devise vinyl “skins” for various mobility products.  I haven’t heard back from them, but I think I’ll keep bugging them until I speak to a human.  I think “skin kits” for walkers, wheelchairs, canes, crutches, etc. would be keen, but it would take some logistical engineering to figure out exact fit and easiest application.  Know of any other companies that may be interested in such a venture?  The market’s there, folks…
