Oh, geez…

So sorry I haven’t posted in ages.  I have been busy searching with my FANTASTIC realtor, Karen Jones for a home for my husband and I.  (Up to now, we’ve only been renting, and are ready for some place to call our own.)  Yesterday, my husband placed a bid for the cutest home in Albuquerque (and surprisingly affordable!!) and as of time of this posting, we are anxiously awaiting a response.  I have good feelings about this, so I’ll keep you all posted…

Hubby and I head out East on Wed. for a two-wk. trip to Boston and then on to Philly.  A great friend of mine from college is getting married to a great guy, and we are so excited to help her celebrate at the wedding on the 27th.  Should be a nice time of year to visit the East Coast, ‘eh?  Hmmm…fried clam strips….

Albuquerque hosted their annual Balloon Fiesta last week, and what weather we enjoyed all week long!  I made my first trip down to the Balloon Fiesta park one evening with a good friend and her 3-yr. old son, and we watched “special shape” hot air balloons “glow” as the sun set in the picturesque NM sky.

Regarding the above picture, the Zimmers are my favorite senior group; musically or otherwise.  As a Gerontologist, it pleases me so much to see a group like this come together to benefit the greater society.  Keep up the great work, Zimmers!  Here is a video of their Who covered single, “Our Generation”.
